Our second renovation project in the Cleveland area took us to Ivandale Drive in Parma, Ohio. It is a lovely street and this home is a real stunner from the outside. Walking around the outside made you think you could move right in! Once you stepped inside though, it became apparent that a major renovation was needed. This project began with the help of ESV Handicraft on November 14, 2014 and wrapped up on March 9th, 2015. We left no surface untouched on the inside.
Outside
We were lucky in that the outside didn’t require much work. We swapped out the lighting fixtures, made repairs to the bricks where needed and some fresh paint on the garage and the front railing.

Kitchen
The kitchen was a complete remodel. We took it apart down to the studs. New cabinets, granite countertop, stainless appliances and tile floor gives the kitchen a fresh and clean look.

First Floor: Living Room and Dining Room
This large living area has a show stopping fireplace mantel that was just asking for a makeover. We took out the green carpet and found beautiful hardwoods underneath. A fresh coat of paint throughout, new electrical hardware and new tile in the fireplace really made this area shine.

Bathroom
I wish we had a bigger footprint to work with, but we took this bathroom from outdated and dirty to clean and modern!
Bedrooms and Sunroom
We had a pretty straightforward plan of attack in the bedrooms: new paint, new fan/light combos and new carpet.
This sunroom off of one of the bedrooms is a really great feature! It was quite an eyesore when we started, but now it is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax.
