We didn’t do any external work on this project, it was completely interior. The scope of work included painting the entire home, refinishing and retaining the hardwood floors, new carpet and new light fixtures.
The entryway provides the first glance at the rehab. We changed out the light fixture to a modern piece with Edison LED Bulbs. All of the trim in the house was changed from Beige to Sherwin-Williams Caviar.
The first thing we did in the living room was to tear out the outdated mantle and columns on the fireplace. A new, custom built mantel was installed. It was then painted Sherwin-Williams Alabaster (as was the rest of the house). The other major transformation was to add in the custom floating shelves.

The cabinets were still in great shape, so we painted them and replaced the glass.
In the smaller family room we refinished and painted the fireplace. This view is also the best look at the refinished hardwood floors.
